Are you reading the Oranges this year? Or have you developed a sensitivity/intolerance/allergy?
I’ve only read Esi Edugyan’s Half-Blood Blues; I have Ann Patchett’s State of Wonder set to read next.
With a total of 6,692 pages of Orange-ness, I’ve read 336.

A lot of Orange reading remains. You too?
Verity – How funny that the ONE book I’ve read is the ONE book that you couldn’t finish?!
Carrie – Wow, that’s terrific. I’ve really enjoyed what I’ve read so far, but I’m not moving very quickly, and I’m okay with that.
Debbie – You’ve read more than I! The Waldman is waiting for me at the library now: I’m curious.
Iris – My reading mood is a strong influence too; I’ve tried not to read much about these books, so I can just discover them as they make their way into my stack, but my mood is taking me elsewhere these days!
I have only read 4 to date. I’m currently not very much in the mood for any of these books, but I’ll try to finish a few more before mid-April.
I’ve read only the Edugyan and the Patchett, although the Harris, Waldman, & Enright are on my reading list…Not feeling very ‘literary’ this year, I guess. 😉
I’ve read ten of the twenty, but I had already read four of them before the longlist was announced. I’m half-way through the titles, but I’m a little less than half-way through by page count. I don’t think I’ll finish before the shortlist is announced, but I’m hoping I’ll finally make my goal of reading all twenty before the winner announcement this year. I’ve mostly enjoyed the reading this year too. I’m still waiting on four of the titles to arrive from the UK, but I’m eager to hear your thoughts on all of them soon!
I’ve just got one left to go apart from not finishing Half Blood Blues. It’s a LOT of Orange this year, or so it feels
